About Me
Hello and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been writing since first grade, when I carefully crafted a handmade cattle catalog (featuring the elegant Guernsey cow!) and a birdwatching picture book.
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” (Habakkuk 2:2)
Ever since words and imagination have been my favorite companions. My love for storytelling deepened thanks to teachers who saw something in me, such as Mrs. Pierpont, the fourth-grade teacher who helped me discover the beauty in combining art history and storytelling.
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” (James 1:17)
I still remember winning my first writing award in sixth grade for a Christmas story—and that spirit of wonder and celebration continues to shape my life and writing to this day.
“Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” (Psalm 95:2)
I live humbly but enjoy creating meaningful moments, especially during holidays. When I’m not writing, I usually prepare small gift baskets for my neighbors or decorate for the next celebration.
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (Hebrews 13:16)
My faith didn’t come all at once—it came quietly, through heartache, healing, and holy whispers. I didn’t grow up knowing how deeply God loved me. But when I began writing stories about restoration, I found Him waiting between the lines. Every book I write is a doorway—an invitation to see beauty in brokenness and remember: you are already chosen and loved.
I believe in faith, kindness, and the beauty of quiet, thoughtful living—and I hope my stories bring a little of that joy into your heart too.
“Whatever is lovely… think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)
Kindly,
Lisa
